<><><> Gal 6:9  Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.<><><>

Chainsaw units are used to clear fallen trees and limbs after hurricanes, ice storms, and tornados.

This unit has 10 saws and deploys with a crew of 6 to 12 persons.    Depending on the training of the personnel being deployed the personnel can work from the ground,  from ladders, or climb if necessary.

When on deployment, there is a need for chainsaw operators and brush handlers (individuals who pull the cut limbs and trees out of the work area). In addition, there is a unit director who handles job surveys, paperwork, and communications.

Most of the work is physically demanding.

Witnessing opportunities with home owners and their neighbors abound!

The Denton Baptist Association's chainsaw unit was placed into service in September of 2008 and first deployed for Hurricane Ike.
